Brose at SAPE 2016: "Competence for tomorrow’s mobility"

"Competence for tomorrow’s mobility" is the Brose theme for Shanghai International Auto Parts Exhibition (SAPE) 2016 in New International Expo Center, where Brose is showcasing solutions for the cars of today and tomorrow. The automotive supplier offers a comprehensive product portfolio, from single components to entire system units for doors, seats and electric drives – all with customized design options.

We are entering an era in which car owners demand more of their driving experience: new dimensions of comfort features, a reduction in potential risks and higher efficiency with lower fuel consumption. In response to these megatrends, international mechatronic specialist Brose offers innovative solutions with its expertise in mechatronic system integration and years of experience in mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering.

Examples are the lightweight series door system, a modular seat system for a global vehicle platform and customized thermal management. The hands-free opening and closing function featured in the power liftgate greatly makes loading and unloading at the rear of the vehicle easier. Brose series electric seat structure can realize up to 20 different adjustments, and by using intelligent material mix, the seat system weighs around 20 percent lighter than rival products. With Brose motors, the potential of CO2 can be reduced up to 20 grams per kilometer.
