Shanghai (25 March 2017). The annual Brose Job Shadow Day took place at the new China Headquarters on 10 February. 36 grade-eleven students from Anting senior high school participated at this event. “The feedback from the students was really positive. We could see that their interest in Brose and their career sense increased thanks to the five-year interaction, feedback and cultivation through this activity,” says Eva Hou, Vice President Brose China.

The automotive supplier initiated the Job Shadow Day in 2012. Every year, the company will invite the representatives from Anting senior high school to its Headquarters in Shanghai to have face to face communication with Brose volunteers. “Company culture, interview techniques, compensation structures and other pragmatic and realistic questions have been brought up by these high school students during this event. The questions they raised are way beyond what school books offer them,” explains Tang Yanjie, Senior Officer Human Resources Shanghai New Plant. She has been one of 28 Brose volunteers.

The event took place in Shanghai new factory as well. With the successful relocation, the plant impressed students with its new equipment and orderly operation. “Seeing the participants getting so interested in our operation and products is very pleasant,” stresses Vincent Wang, General Manager Shanghai Plant.

Ding Xinyi, a student Anting senior high school, summarizes, “Brose’s advanced technology and professional operations are truly impressive. We appreciated the whole day with the pragmatic and innovative Brose team.”

Sun Yiting, Engineer Logistics Shanghai Plant, is touring the students around Shanghai new factory.

The students are showing “Brose in my eyes” to Brose employees.
