Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Independently test and understand technical requirements of vehicle systems
Software parameters tuning for Brose products to achieve the correct functionality
Communication with customer and alignment of project-specific system requirements
Configure product performance in climatic chambers with a high range of temperature
Implement and document software system tests with new functions
Validate and document door electronics functions according to specifications
Analyze malfunctions and complaints internally and at customer locations worldwide
Prepare and implement parameter settings and performance results to project team

Your Profile

Completed university studies in electronics, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
Basic knowledge of drive and electronic functions of window regulators, power operated tailgates or handsfree access
Basic understanding of the product development process
Willingness to learn about parameter change management and automotive hardware/software for control unit analysis
Advanced level in English (B2 or higher)
Willingness to travel
Soft skills such as time management, self-management and communication
