Industrial Project Engineer

- Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure compliance with product design standards and manufacturing requirements, focusing on both economical design and seamless integration with electronics production. Work closely with the electronics pre-production manufacturing team to align on goals and execution throughout the process.
- Product Design Meetings: Actively participate in project meetings, providing insights on production-oriented, cost-effective design strategies to ensure efficient product development.
- Project Industrialization: Independently manage the industrialization of new customer projects in electronics, guiding them from the design phase to series production. Prepare and provide all necessary documentation, ensuring a smooth handover to the factory using the "Safe Launch" methodology.
- Process Development & Optimization: Continuously develop and improve existing manufacturing and assembly processes, considering both technical and economic factors to ensure our long-term competitiveness in the market.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare essential documentation including specifications, P-FMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), detailed schedules, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement and operational resources. Perform technical evaluations of supplier offers.
- Data Management: Work with critical data in SAP, including GECOS, parts masters, parts lists, and routings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Technical Change Management: Evaluate and implement technical changes as part of customer projects and provide ongoing support during series production.
- Facility Planning & Implementation: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of production and assembly facilities at suppliers. Oversee the commissioning of production facilities on-site, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and documentation requirements.
Your Profile
- Basic studies in the field of technical sciences
- 2 years of professional experience in the field of production planning / electronics development
- Solid SAP-knowledge
- Good project management skills
- Strong communication skills and experience in problem solving processes
- FMEA knowledge
- Fluent English language skills
