Welding Engineering Coordinator

Manage and coordinate laser and MIG welding technologies engineering and welding production at Brose New Boston Plant, with subordinate Welding Engineering Team of 3Welding Specialists (each with 10+ years of Brose welding machine experience), to ensure high volume production of mechatronic seat systems (1st, 2nd, and 3rd row), base structures, backrests, loadthroughs, and center consoles. Direct and supervise engineering and technical Welding Shop personnel to set up and assure electro-pneumatic configurations, and validate the configuration, programming and maintenance of laser and MIG welding machinery with 4D Weld Watcher and Tru-tops monitoring systems; Brose-Robot interfaces (BRIs); Autodyne/AWL software configurations; programming of laser light of disc lasers; laser optical configurations; digital measures; metallurgical compositions; Blackbird laser on the fly programming with expanded envelope; and semi-fully synchronization of robotic systems. Monitor destructive testing methods, in compliance with internal, OEM, and American Welding Society standards.
Your Profile
- Bachelor, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related.
Twenty-four months’ experience as Coordinator, Team Leader, Manager, or related, directing or supervising engineering and technical Welding Shop personnel to set up and assure electro-pneumatic configurations, and validating programming or maintenance of laser and MIG welding machinery with 4D Weld Watcher or Tru-tops monitoring system; programming of laser light of disc lasers; and semi-fully synchronization of robotic systems, or related.
